Benefits and Uses:
1. Respiratory health
– combine 4 drops Eucalyptus oil, 4 drops Peppermint oil and 4 drops carrier oil to make a homemade vapour rub; apply chest.
2. Earache relief
– combine 2 drops Eucalyptus oil with 2 drops carrier oil and gently massage the skin around the ear.
3. Sinus and allergy relief
– combine 2 drops Eucalyptus oil with 2 drops carrier oil and massage on chest.
4. Shingles relief
– Eucalyptus oil may be beneficial at reducing pain, itching and irritation from shingles. Apply topically to skin.
5. Energy, clarity and focus
– diffuse Eucalyptus oil or apply topically, to temples and neck, to naturally energize.
6. Natural cleaner
– add about 10 drops you your laundry soap, and/or diffuse to inhibit growth of bacteria and mould in your environment.
7. Wound care
– because of the antimicrobial and antiseptic properties, Eucalyptus oil can help protect burns, cuts, insect sores and other wounds from infection and special recovery. Apply topically to affected area.
How to use:
– Always dilute it. To use topically, add one drop of essential oil for each teaspoon of carrier oil.
– Use with water in an oil diffuser. It can also be inhaled as an aromatherapy treatment by using in a room diffuser.
– Store properly. Store in an opaque, glass container in a cool, dark place.
– Use and monitor its quality. It has a long shelf life, so you can make several batches to store for a year, or longer.
– However, never use an oil that has expired or smells rancid
